Abstract: This paper addresses the issue of maintenance and filling of old roadways in coal mining faces, and introduces the technology of foam cement filling and reconstruction for old roadways. This technology achieves the purpose of filling, reinforcement, and reconstruction of old roadways by injecting foam cement into them. The paper details the principle, advantages, and application of this technology in coal mining faces. By analyzing the technical characteristics, advantages, and practical application effects, the feasibility and effectiveness of the foam cement filling and reconstruction technology for old roadways in coal mining faces are demonstrated. It is also proven that this technology has significant effects in improving filling efficiency, reducing filling costs, and improving the working environment. The paper concludes by proposing the future development direction of this technology to improve the mining efficiency and safety of the work face.
