Abstract:
Through an extensive analysis of the variables influencing the stability of coal mine roadways, this study suggests that the primary factor contributing to roadway destabilization is the conflict between high geopathic stress and low rock strength. The examination of horizontal stress and its distribution within deep protolith revealsthe structural and performance advantages of the innovative sleeve-type anchor with strong horizontal stress resistance (hereinafter referred to as sleeve anchors) in roadway support are highlighted.Upon analyzing the laboratory data, it was observed that the shear strength of the sleeve anchors increased by more than 50% in comparison to the bare rebar anchors.Industrial testing conducted at theNo. 11 mine of the Pingdingshan Shenma Group has shown that sleeve anchors exhibit significantly higher shear resistance than traditional high-strength let pressure anchors. This improvement coincides with a more reliable product support strength, resulting in a breaking rate of 0. Furthermore, the distortion of perimeter rock convergence has been reduced by 100 to 250 mm, meeting the support requirements for underground tunnels in coal mines. These findings indicate that the novelsleeve anchors deserve considerable promotion for widespread implementation.
