Design and Application of the Drainage System Renovation Scheme at the −430m Level of Jiangzhuang Coal Mine

    • Due to the insufficient capacity of the −430 level drainage system at Jiangzhuang Coal Mine, with a maximum drainage capacity of only 511 m3/h, it failed to meet the 1500 m3/h standard required by Shandong Energy Group and the requirement of being twice the maximum water inflow (i.e., 581.4 m3/h for the −430 level). To ensure mine safety production and enhance the mine's disaster resilience, a design renovation for the −430 level drainage system was proposed. Based on the original system, the renovation involved replacing it with high-power pumps of type MD500-85×6, adding high-specification D426 pipelines, and optimizing the power supply system, thereby constructing an efficient drainage system. After the renovation, the system's maximum drainage capacity can be increased to 1525 m3/h, covering 5.25 times the maximum water inflow, which meets safety regulations and disaster resilience requirements, providing an effective guarantee for the mine's continuous safe production.
