Design and Research of Anti-overturning Device for High-voltage Tower Base In The Digging Surface of Coal Mining

    • Underground mining in coal mines is a crucial component of coal production. After excavation work at the working face, the original stress equilibrium of underground rock and soil masses is disrupted, leading to surface changes such as subsidence and settlement. These changes can trigger severe safety accidents, including the collapse of high-voltage transmission towers and line breaks. Therefore, the research and application of anti-toppling devices for high-voltage transmission tower foundations are of great significance. This paper focuses on the No. 50 tower of the 220 kV Changsu Line above the 1115 working face of the Sima Mine, detailing a novel anti-toppling device designed to resist torsional deformation. The device is thoroughly examined from the perspectives of structural design, working principles, and finite element analysis. It effectively prevents torsional deformation and even overturning of transmission towers caused by ground fissures. With a simple and quick installation process, it significantly enhances work efficiency and economic benefits while ensuring the stability and safety of the transmission towers.
