Research and practice of roadway support technology for soft coal seam with composite roof

Abstract
In view of the problem of large deformation and difficult support of the peripheral rock of Xishan Deshun 10109 general mining face, the deformation and damage of the peripheral rock of the roadway were analyzed through drilling and monitoring, and the principle of truss anchor support was also analyzed for its superiority, accordingly, the optimization of the support scheme of "anchor rods + monobloc anchors + truss anchors + metal mesh" was put forward. The numerical simulation and field industrial test results show that the maximum values of roof subsidence, convergence of two gangs and dropsy are 64, 87 mm and 33 mm respectively, and the maximum amount of layer separation at the deep base point and shallow base point of the roof are 20 mm and 5 mm respectively, which verifies that the support technology can effectively control the deformation of the roadway surrounding rock in the soft coal bed of the composite roof plate.
