    Gas extraction effect practice by directional drilling in No. 2 coal seam of Tanping Mine

    • Taking the No.2 coal seam of Tanping Mine as the research object, the fracture conditions of overlying strata are analyzed, the distribution location of gas extraction borehole is determined, and the practical effect of this technology on gas extraction is discussed by using directional drilling technology. The results show that directional drilling in the core area of gas extraction inside the fracture zone can extract gas efficiently, and the volume fraction and pure extraction amount of gas inside the drilling hole are significantly higher than those outside the core pumping area.
