Study on reinforcement and support technology of full mechanized caving face facing excavation roadway in super thick coal seam

In order to ensure the normal connection of mining working face in Yushupo Mine, through numerical simulation, engineering practice and other means, the study on surrounding rock control of mining roadway facing mining roadway in extra-thick coal seam is carried out. Combined with the geological conditions of mine production, the distribution law of mining advance pressure on fully mechanized caving face is analyzed by numerical simulation. Based on this, the reasonable reinforcement support range of the facing roadway is determined to be +65～−170 m away from the adjacent working face. The reinforcement support measures and parameters are designed on the basis of the original support.
