    Research on Closed Automatic Dry Mist Dust Suppression Technology for Belt Transfer Point

    • In response to the serious problem of dust pollution, especially respiratory dust, at the belt transfer point of Mindong No.1 Mine 102 belt corridor, YS60-1.0 was tested Five types of nozzles commonly used in coal mines, namely YS60-1.2, TK10, TGA08 and BPZ60, were studied for their flow, particle diameter and atomization angle parameters. It was concluded that TGA08 nozzle had good dust suppression effect on respirable dust and was suitable for spray dust suppression at belt transfer points. The spray dust suppression system at the transfer point is optimized by adding an airtight cover, the total dust and respiratory dust concentrations decreased from 61.32 mg/m3 and 28.89 mg/m3 to 16.45 mg/m3 and 3.8 mg/m3, with dust reduction efficiencies of 73.2% and 86.8%, respectively. The proportion of respiratory dust decreased from 47.1% to 23.2%.
