    • In order to solve the problem of the stability of the empty roadway under the thick hard roof, taking the belt along the groove of the 2408 working face of Coal Mine as the research object, aiming at the characteristics of the roof of the working face with high strength, not easy to collapse and obvious stress accumulation phenomenon during the mining promotion of the working face, the construction roof cutting pressure relief process is proposed to control the deformation of the surrounding rock. The optimal topping height is determined to be 11.5 m, the optimal topping angle is 20°, and the blasting parameters are determined to be 1 m, and the blasting radius is 1 m, and the blast hole spacing is 2m.
